Silicon Beach is an incredible lifestyle community that redefines itself everyday !

It’s home to over 500 technology companies and surrounded by a collection of extremely charming residential neighborhoods. Communities like Santa Monica, Venice, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Mar Vista, Culver City, Marina Del Rey and Playa Vista are adored by its residents and visitors alike.

Very few places on earth offer such an extremely temperate climate along with easy access to world class beaches, hiking, sightseeing and incredible culinary experiences.

Locals that have figured out the secret to living, working and playing in one distinct geographical pocket have unlocked the secret to living in LA !

Santa Monica is the ultimate city by the sea, with fantastic ocean breezes and home to hundreds of technology companies. The true heart of Silicon Beach with a great school system that is separate and apart from the Los Angeles School District (LAUSD).

This community features a vibrant creative office / technology community and is home to Snapchat, Headspace and many more. Some would consider this the ultimate Live and Work community, with great (but pricey) housing options, abundant creative office options and a very walkable community.

Venice is a place where grit meets grace and art meets science. The birthplace of Snapchat and the re-creation of the great Venice Canals.

Fantastic architecture, culture, nightlife and ultimate sense of cool. Amazing beaches and incredible architecture makes this area one of a kind.

Not only is there an amazing liveable lifestyle, but in Venice you will also find great creative office options and easy access to Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey and Playa Vista.

Marina Del Rey is home to North America’s largest man-made small-craft harbor according to Wikipedia. If boating is your thing, then you want to be close to Marina del Rey.

This area is experiencing some serious re-gentrification as older dilapidated apartment buildings and retail are demolished to make way for state of the art housing, shopping, dining and boat slips.

You will find an abundance of multi family / condo / townhouse options at the Marina in addition to easy access to the creative office communities of Santa Monica, Venice and Playa del Rey.

The newest arrival to the creative office market in Silicon Beach and home to one of the newest “lifestyle” communities in all of Los Angeles. This densely packed multi family residential and tech corridor neighborhood is not without its charms ! Playa Vista represents one of the most walkable neighborhoods in all of Los Angeles and has easy access to beaches, Marina Del Rey, Culver City and LAX.

Just on the east side of the 405 Freeway, Culver City offers an amazing opportunity for a great blend of wonderful housing options and creative office. Unofficially known as “Advertising Alley” due to its density of global advertising agencies, Culver City has excellent public transportation, good public schools and a vibrant social scene and eateries.

Pacific Palisades features a more secluded residential neighborhood with many high-end homes and estates. You will find mostly single family residential homes here in a neighborhood that is sandwiched between Pacific Coast Hwy (PCH) and the Santa Monica Mountains.

Residents and visitors alike really enjoy the new Palisades Village that was recently built by Caruso and features restaurants, movie theaters, high-end retail and a small amount of creative office space.

This neighborhood is best suited for those who want to live close to everything and great schools. You can also enjoy the wonderful hiking trails at Temescal Canyon and Will Rodgers Park in addition to Will Rodgers State Beach.

An upcoming “tweener” neighborhood that’s on the rise. You can expect some higher density mid-rise developments in this neighborhood to support the high demand for housing in Silicon Beach.

There is a slightly more urban vibe here in West LA, but still enjoy easy access to beaches, steady cool breezes, access to public transportation (new metro rail)  and great restaurants to boot. This is an excellent location if you need access to UCLA.

Palms / Mar Vista formerly known as an “overflow” community to Santa Monica has now come into its own. This wonderful family oriented neighborhood has been steadily on the rise and has enjoyed a nice upswing in renovated housing stock. You can expect a slighly lower density than Santa Monica here, however there is not much in the way of creative office spaces.

With easy access to the tech corridors of Santa Monica, Venice and Playa Vista, we feel that this is the sweet spot of Silicon Beach.
